WHY BE A MARKET VENDOR?

The Market is a platform for local entrepreneurs and advocates to launch and grow their businesses and initiatives. The Markets attract hundreds of people from all around the region each month that are eager to enjoy about your products.   The Market is a great place to educate people about a cause or sell products made locally. 

Above all, the Market is about creating a venue for makers to sell their creations and for the community to enjoy our downtown in a new way. 

AM I ELIGIBLE TO BE A VENDOR?

Our focus is to build a customer base for vendors from Frankfort, but we welcome interested businesses and causes from around the region to vend.  We don’t allow national chains to participate, and the sale of illicit, profane and insensitive materials will not be allowed.  Additionally, no alcoholic beverages outside the Market’s beer tent may be sold. 

Vendors are allocated a 10’ x 10’ booth space to sell their creations, with the exception of food vendors.  Vendors are responsible for bringing all of their own materials, including a tents, tables, lights, chairs, etc.  All vendors are required to bring their own extension cords and surge protectors.  If your vending requires an electrical connection, please indicate so on your vendor application as electrical connections are limited. Vendors are required to secure any and all permits and licenses required for their booth, as appropriate including all food handling permits and inspections. All vendors are required to have a local business license and may be requested to provide a current certificate of insurance with their application.

APPLICATION

If you are interested in vending at the Markets, you must fill out the vendor application. Applications may be obtained here or by emailing Frankfortmarket@gmail.com  By completing and submitting an application, you acknowledging that you understand and agree to all terms of conditions outlined in the application. 

Submitting an application does not guarantee attendance at the Market. Once we have received your application, we will contact you regarding availability. Vendors must apply for each Market, or indicate in the initial application which markets you would like to attend.

$25 Local Artists / Businesses

$50 Local Desserts / Beverages

$75 Local Food Trucks / Carts / Booths

*Please note local vendors must have a physical address within Franklin County, KY for the above fees to apply.

$50 – Artists / Businesses

$75 – Desserts / Beverages

$100 – Food Trucks / Carts / Booths

*Please note vendors located outside of the City of Frankfort limits must acquire a local business license to participate in The Market.

FEE EXCEPTIONS:

*There is no charge for nonprofits or charitable organizations and a local business license is not required for non-profits.
